It’s great to learn about prana and chakras; but it is even better to experience them. This exercise provides a simple way for you to feel the prana that emanates from your palm chakra.
1.
Place your tongue to the roof of your mouth behind your teeth.
2.
Take five deep breaths, inhaling and exhaling through your nose.
3.
Perform wrist rolls. Breath normally as you extend your hands spin hands at the wrist 10 times to the right, then 10 times to the left.
4.
Now, tighten your fists and open rapidly, extending your fingers. Repeat this 10 times.
5.
Hold your arms in front of you like you are holding exercise weights in your hands. Close your fists, then throw your arms down while opening your hands (please don’t hyperextend!) Repeat this10 times.
6.
Hold your hands 3 inches apart with your palms open. In a position like you are about to clap. Push your right thumb into the center of your left palm. Hold 4 seconds. Put your left thumb into the center of your right palm. Hold 4 seconds.
7.
Now, hold your hands wide open about 2 to 3 inches apart. Close your eyes and focus attention on the energy and/or the magnetism between your palms and fingertips.
8.
Move your hands slowly in and out to see how far you can feel this energy field… your prana. If you can’t feel it don’t worry about it. Try the exercise several times over a period of a few weeks and see what happens.
