Sri Neem Karoli Baba Maharajji
One of the great and loving teachers, Maharaj-ji also known as Neem Karoli Baba, established more than 100 temples, fed millions, performed a variety of miracles, influenced current American and Indian society, and brought and continues to bring grace into the lives of countless people.
It is believed that by the time Maharaj-ji was 17 years old he had achieved illlumination. This is to be taken as a knowing that is impossible to describe with words. A knowing that is all.. The knowing of God.
In the late 1960s Baba Ram Dass authored books telling of Neem Karoli Baba. Hundreds of westerners, many now famous in the world of yoga, went for Maharaj-ji's darshan. His students and diciples tell stories that are a wonderment of love and grace and awe.
