Sathya Sai Baba
Sathya Sai Baba was born Sathyanarayana Raju on 23 November 1926. He is a South Indian guru, religious figure, educator and orator. He is described by diciples as an avatar, spiritual teacher, and miracle worker. The Sathya Sai Organization estimates there are 1,200 Sathya Sai Baba Centers in 114 countries around the world. The number of Sathya Sai Baba followers is estimated to exceed 10 million.
Sathya Sai Baba gives discourses, lectures, on religious topics to devotees in his native language Telugu. Sathya Sai Baba has noted that followers do not need to give up their original religion, saying "My objective is the establishment of sanathana dharma, which believes in one God as propitiated by the founders of all religions. So none has to give up his religion or deity.
