Walking Thunder, Juanita Peters, is a traditional Dine Navajo medicine woman. I have had the great pleasure to meet this beautiful healer and have experienced her gentle, yet profound healing and insight. Her connection with mother nature and spirit is genuine and profound. And, her love of her patients and students is equally heartfelt. One way in which Walking Thunder follows the path of the healer is through her demonstrations and use of sand painting.
